Hon. Mahama Fuseini visits site for the construction of Ultra-Modern KG Block at Buipe Block ‘B’ Primary School

The hardworking and results-driven District Chief Executive (DCE) for Central Gonja, Honorable Mahama Fuseini, once again demonstrated his proactive leadership and unwavering commitment to education with a landmark visit to Buipe Block ‘B’ Primary School.

Leading a high-powered delegation of technocrats and educationists, Hon. Fuseini conducted an on-site inspection and formally allocated land for the construction of an ultra-modern Kindergarten (KG) block — a project designed to enhance early childhood education in the district.

The proposed KG block is a model educational facility aimed at providing a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for young children. The comprehensive design of the structure will feature:

• Two classrooms for effective teaching and learning

• A fully equipped kitchen to support school feeding programs

• A modern restroom

• Six WC toilets (four for pupils and two for staff)

• A courtyard for safe outdoor activities

• A recreational playground to foster physical development

• Two store rooms for instructional materials

• A teachers’ office for administration and supervision

• A shower room

• A changing room

Addressing members of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Hon. Mahama Fuseini reaffirmed his dedication to transforming the education sector in Central Gonja. He announced that, God willing, the contractor will mobilize to site within the coming week to commence construction. He emphasized the need for the contractor to execute the project with diligence, integrity, and strict compliance with the contract terms.

The DCE further noted that the initiative is in line with his broader vision for equitable development across the district. He assured the community that the project will be funded through the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), in accordance with the allocation formula set by His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama.

In heartfelt responses, both the PTA Chairman and the Headmistress of Buipe Block ‘B’ Primary School expressed profound appreciation to Hon. Fuseini and the NDC government for their continued commitment to investing in quality educational infrastructure. They highlighted that the new KG block will alleviate classroom congestion and significantly improve the learning environment for the school’s youngest pupils.

The successful on-site visit laid the foundation for a transformative project that promises to elevate early childhood education in Buipe and stand as a beacon of progress throughout the Central Gonja District.
