Central Gonja DCE Commends Market Cleaning Team with Gifts and Assurances

On 15th August 2025, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Central Gonja, Hon. Mahama Fuseini — affectionately known as “The People’s DCE” — paid a working visit to the Buipe, Market to assess the ongoing market cleaning exercise commissioned under his directive.

The initiative, aimed at promoting a clean and healthy trading environment, is being executed by a team of dedicated cleaners contracted by the Assembly.

Upon arrival, Hon. Fuseini was visibly impressed with the dedication, professionalism, and thoroughness displayed by the cleaning team. In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, he presented the team with 20 bags of maize, recognizing their hard work and commitment to improving sanitation in the market.

He further reassured the workers that all pending payments would be made without delay, underscoring his appreciation for their vital role in safeguarding public health. His personal recognition and support brought visible joy to the cleaners, who expressed sincere gratitude for his generosity and exemplary leadership.

In response, the cleaning team pledged to continue their work with discipline, diligence, and pride, inspired by the DCE’s unwavering support and direct engagement.
