The agriculture department provides leadership in the development and sustainability of the agro-environment in the district.
The Department of Works of the Assembly is a merger of the Public works Department, Department of Feeder Roads and District Water & Sanitation Units, Department of Rural Housing and the Works Unit of the Assembly.
The department of physical planning manages the activities of the town and country planning and parks and gardens.
